This 7-day Language and Literacy Summer Academy is a comprehensive literacy training for all educators who work with early or struggling readers or English learners.

This course will focus on developing a research informed knowledge base and quality instruction of the key elements of an effective early reading and language program. Participants will gain an understanding of important milestones in language and literacy acquisition, while learning what to teach and how to teach it. The training will build capacity to teach within any core reading or intervention program to improve
outcomes for all students. The training includes seven days.

Cost:  $600 per person from CIA Member School District; $800 for all others

Registration Deadline: January 7, 2025 or when 26 registrations has been received.

Sign-up early as this class fills up quickly and there is a registration limit. Seats-will not be saved for schools, however participant exchanges will be allowed. No-shows and anyone canceling within 7 days of the first date of class will be invoice for the full amount.
