Special Education Teacher Networking

The focus of this session with special education teachers (K-12) will be based on survey information from participants (forms to be sent to those registered).  

The team is currently building an agenda based on starting with the group unpacking a problem of practice that they are facing, engaging in a deeper dive of what specially designed instruction is (DPI bulletin), and then unpacking what teachers are doing with SDI (looks like, sounds like). Other focus topics of the day will connect to High Leverage Practice 16: Explicit Instruction. We will unpack the components of HLP 16 as it applies to their instruction. The topics of scaffolding and opportunities to respond will be linked to this learning. We may get to data collection or that may be a continuation of this work in December (next session). Participants will end the day with networking.
