Cybersecurity Workshop Day 1: Design your incident response plan

Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) team members, Bill Nash and Dan Honore, along side CESA 8's Certified Cybersecurity Rubric Evaluator, Jenny Ambrosius, will guide two days of school district cyber incident preparation activities this fall at CESA 8.  

October 9th we will design incident response plans (IRP), utilizing best practices and guidance from CISA.   The follow up to this session will take place on November 6th, where teams will walk through a table top exercise to test their IRP. 

Please note each day of the workshop is a separate registration. 

It is encouraged for district teams to attend the workshop together. Suggested team members include business managers, individuals responsible for communicating internally and to the public, technology directors, IT staff, and district administration. 

Please bring current contingency/ incident response plans and have access to your technical systems. 

$30 per person -  (cost is reduced due to the availability of CITSC grant funding) 

Lunch will be provided.
